Sean Bagbey, PTA, OPTA, OMPTA

Sean Bagbey, a native of Evansville, IN, graduated from University of Evansville in 2002 with his Bachelors in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and Associates in Physical Therapy Assistance. Following graduation, he has completed his Masters in Health Service Administration from the University of Southern Indiana. Recently, he became a Certified Industrial Rehabilitation Specialist.

Sean is certified in the Functional Movement Systems, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Y-balance Testing, as well as, Case Management, Home Modification Design, and Industrial Rehabilitation. He holds advanced proficiency in Musculoskeletal and Geriatrics from the American Physical Therapy Association. He was also one of the first PTA’s to complete the Advanced Proficiency Pathways in Orthopedics.

Sean has been an active member of the Physical Therapy profession by serving in several roles with in the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been active on a state and national level primarily involved in advocacy for the patient. He was named the APTA’s PTA of the year in 2017. He currently serves in a national elected position as a Delegate to the APTA House of Delegates as a member of the PTA Caucus. He is also the first PTA appointed to the Physical Therapy Licensure Board in Indiana.
